In my attempts to remain unbiased in my choice of console I decided to take another look at the games available for the PS2, and some of the games coming out, just to see if there's anything for me. Here are the highlighs on the release schedule:

Devil May Curry: Apparently this is the first game of a series of three that has be very interested indeed. Devil May Curry puts you in charge of a small Indian restaurant, with the mission to make the hottest curry the world has ever seen. Apparently your journey takes you deep into Birmingham looking for the five curry sages of legend, and eventually into Hell itself, as you seek advice from the worlds number one curry chef: The devil!

Runs Like Hell: The sequel to Devil May Curry, this is a cautionary tale of the dangers of too hot a curry. Anyone remember a game called Vindaloo? Well this is a very similar theme. That game had you avoiding enemies on the way to the loo, this game, apparently, has you trying to keep up with the orders in the restuarant, and fit in a sufficient amount of loo breaks. Soil yourself and it's all over for you. The game sounds to be highly original, a time management sim, with elements of cooking, and a top notch 3D adventure to boot!

Ring Of Red: The third game in the series, and possibly the best of all. Ring Of Red follows on directly after the events of Runs Like Hell, with you needing to seek a cure for your Ring of Red. The game takes you on a quest to a number of chemists as you seek the magical cream that can soothe your aching behind. The game also takes you on a journey to find a comfy cushion to sit on, so as to not upset your inflammed rear end.

Wow! These games are certainly something to look forward to.

Playstation 2 I salute you.
