"Any Xbox price drops forecast?"

I'm thinking of getting one around March/April, so it would be handy if SR, or Microsoft dropped their prices to around £100 for a pack with 2 control pads, and a couple of games - one has to be Halo. Any ideas?

What a cheapskate!! Hoping to save about £30...totally pointless. What's that worth, not even one game at full price? If you intend on buying games in the future, the original price of the machine is totally irrelevant.

Not sure if the offer's still on but around christmas W h Smythe were doing RS3 + Midtown madness + Halo + free two months of Live for around 130-140 quid.

Wow that good too, Arg0s is a very bad price then.

Just that i already got splinter cell and i already have a stereo just for the Xbox so i dont need either of them.

Go to dix(---)ions (i think) and get splinter cell and speakers plus xbox for £130

Damn thats excellent.
As you know my xbox is broken and i am getting a new one from argos, £130 with 1 controller.
I may consider looking on the net now.

Price is coming down in May and again beofre Xmas in the States so same may happen here ? but it won't be April.

Around March last year I bought off a mate:

Xbox, Official Controller, Unofficial Controller, DVD Remote, Halo, Conflict: Desert Storm.

[All boxed and in good condition]

£95.

I got:

Amazon Auctions:

Xbox, pad, Halo, JSRF + Sega GT for £105

and then KOTOR, Splinter Cell and an S pad from varying shops for about £30. I used vouchers for the controller.

Yea thats not a bad price.
Look around, there are always bound to be some good deals going on.
