Shenmue 1 this week, i dont think it is as good as Shenmue 2 and the contolling of it is alot harder too.
But still a fun game to be playing.

What did you think was better, Shenmue 1 or Shenmue 2?

The first Shenmue is FAR far better than the second. The second is a good game but it went completely astray with the story and it didn't flow as well as the first game. In the first game you felt that the story was building up to something everytime something happened however in the second when you thought it was building up all of a sudden the story took a nose dive a reared off in a different direction away from the intended plot. Granted the hotel scene in Shenmue 2 is extremely sweet but the majority of the game didn't live up to the excellent first Shenmue.

thank god the xbox verson has a fast forward time feature. You could work till its time. Or do something that consumes time yet benefits you.

I have been playing shenmue 1 a fair bit today, it really is good, not sure it is better then number 2, but there has not been as many fight scenes which is good because i thought number 2 had to many and that let it down a bit.
But on shenmue 1 you cannot just save the game wenever you want like you can on xbox :(

Also on Shenmue 1, is there any way you can forward time?
Just that it says stuff like "meet so and so here at 7" well thats great but i just have to leave the game running and come back when i think the right amount of time has passed.
Any way i can forward time???

I think thats why the gave you a movie with it, so you understood the plot so far without them having to put Shenmue 1 on the Xbox too.
I remeber paying £35 for a 2nd coppy of shenmue 2 when it first came out on xbox, now they are like £25 new.
That reminds me i still have not got round to watching the Shenmue movie yet.

Any good?

At least you'll get a fuller insight into the whole plot.

Good game, wish it was included with the Xbox Shenmue 2.

But i played and completed Shenmue 2 about 3 times before i actually played Shenmue 1, so thats why i might not like it as much because i have gone from a new one to an older one.

Shenmue 1. Shenmue 2 didn't feel right. Can't explain it, but it just didn't
