Tony, my dear friend, fantastic role model and general nice-rich-type person....


I don't know if you ever venture into the PC forum, and I appreciate you must be really busy, but we all kinda think there should be a web design compo. I'm sure everyone on there would be REALLY grateful if you could see what you could do. I'm sure you could find a way that SR could get something out of this if you donate a prize and some time to judge the compo for us, and arranging it shouldn't be a problem for such a genius as yourself.

What we need is something like this:
- someone to jusge the compo
- a prize (pleeeeeaaaaaase!)
- an idea of what to build the site about

I know someone already posted in here about this, but your always here and we don't seem to have heard anything else since. Plus Andrew could always help out, so you wouldn't have to do too much work!

Do you have to create the pages using HTML or can you use webpage building
software.
Also what about copyright on graphics, will the pages be advertised by anyone
or just for people on here to view?

The compo is in the Web Design Forum (logic being one of my strong points - makes up for having no memory)

The thing is, as much as I would like a compo like this, it all rests on one question: How is SR going to benefit from this?

The reason they do extra gad comps is to 'bribe' ideas out of us, which they can then use - its alot cheaper than hiring pros to do it for them, and the same standard of ideas usually pop up.

How is SR going to use the winning site? They dont plan to redo their site do they? No. They'll have nothing to do with it, so really there's no point in them giving an extra game away in the first place.

Now for a groveling part...HaHmmm...
