FADE basically is said to "decompose" the game until it's no longer playable disabling key aspects of the game within time AND it only does this if the game is detected to not be the original version. Clever stuff.. So how do they do it? No one but Codemasters knows yet but lets hope eventually all companies will adopt a similar technology and destroy computer game piracy and finally we will have an end to the destruction of the computer game market which is badly harmed by piracy year after year... Lets hope this software really isn't beatable by the pirates like Codemasters claim.. Only the future will tell this. If the software succeeds though we can easily say this is the future of gaming and the ending of piracy.. It's a hard world to imagine...
But of course, that won't happen, because one of my

The police force is completely corrupt... sadly..
My idea to stop Pitate's!
Somehow, when the disk is read if it is a pirate disk the disk would have a small explosive inside. I’m talking so small it wouldn’t matter if it exploded in your eye. Back to the main thing. When the disk was read the cd-rom would pick up this little thing and then it would start its self destruction, it would be a small fire and would take days before you noticed. But by then your whole computer would have burnt to the ground, including your house as well probably.
That would be a harsh but good way to stop piracy.
The thing all devco's know is that if it is on a CD there will ALWAYS be a way to copy it, just takes the pirates a little time. This one was clever as a) it requires no coding (in that it it's a story) and b) scares gamers away from buying the priate title.
