"Halo 2 vs. Doom III"

Which one are you more excited about, the remake of the game that defined the genre or the sequel to the game that rewrote the book on the FPS, and when do you think they'll both be released by?

Well it was confirmed that Half Life 2 couldnt run on PS2 or GC.

I gotta say that as a xbox owner and a pc owner, i'll have to say halo2, doom has never really appealed to me, and also the new doom is also gonna have ultra high specs that are gonna make it almost improosible for everybody to own........if you want a good FPS for free, then my honest opinion is for you to download enemy territory, although it can only be played online

I'm guessing it's because of the Xbox's PC architecture and the fact that Microsoft are throwing loads of time and money at Doom 3.

Why aren't Doom III or Half Life 2 being released on the other 2 consoles??

I'd rather play against real people than advanced AI.

This is why I'm currenly looking forward to Halo 2 and Doom 3 a bit more than HL2.

I'm playing through Doom 1 on the GP32.


Mobile Doom rocks.

Trouble was, the 486 and PS1 were about the best platforms to play it on...

I'm going to play them all (ideally at the same time)

I too was amused though, when that crowd almost ejaculated at things that have been done before.

Makes you think they might have been paid to cream...

Why not just buy them all and stop bitching about it?

Personally though, I'm a Halo playah, but Half Life 2 might just pip it in the single player stakes. Never been too keen on the Doom series, although the only versions I've ever played were on a 486 and a PS1!
