Am about to dump my GCN and switch to PS2. Any of you commending me for this?

Am wondering, where in the UK or on the web, could I get my best value for money?

By all means, get a PS2 if you really want to buy one, just don't get rid of the Gamecube.

I bought an Xbox, and am now selling it because the GC still gets my attention more.

You'll find that EA endorsed PS2 online for one simple reason - money. Sony gave EA free reign to charge for use and content whilst using the PS2 network whereas Microsoft were unwilling to let EA do that with Xbox Live which was already a subscriber service.

Sorry but Rainbow Six 3 is better - PS2 online is also full of cheaters whilst Xbox Live doesn't have that problem. I hate online gaming anyway so it's no big deal to me - as far as I'm concerned even the original SOCOM kick Rainbow Six 3 in singleplayer and that's all I'm bothered about to be honest. If we ever get FF XI I'll fire up the network adaptor, but until then I'm just not bothered!

All i have to mention is your tagline, PS2's Central Station may not be as good as XBOX's Live but its not about the free little disc that comes with the package, its the games that you get. And dont dare say Rainbow Six 3 is better than SOCOM 2 cos its not, how can you have a game as you tagline which is exclusive to PS2's ONLINE GAMING and say Xbox Live kicks ass, you make me sick!

Heh, I actually had a PS2 because I was sick of Microsoft's incessant push to make eveything online on Live. Sorry all you Ps2 only people, but in terms of online gaming Microsoft's stormed the castle and is pouring boiling oil onto everyone else.

I have a network adaptor for my PS2 but the games are just so far behind Microsoft's it's laughable.

GameCube doesn't have online gaming, therefore it smells like camel breath. Get PS2.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Brilliant service.
Love it, love it, love it!
