I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I and you are you.....
Whatever we were to each other that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name; speak to me in the easy way, which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone; wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, and pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect, without the ghost of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was; there is absolutely unbroken continuity.
What is this death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well.
Cannon Scott Holland (1847-1918)

Here's a poem about death and the Devil:
Old Nick is cursed with a permanent erection
In orgasm phase He is stilted
A befuddled soul into the bosom of Hell
Will release His pressurized lust
The stimulus of the death-rattle
And an ecstatic welcome to torment
Shall induce His shuddering climax of violent excitment
But that's because I was a Billy-No-Mates quoting Haiku
Please, love me as a sensitive soul and don't laugh
For I will
Feel
Crushed
Ain't we the bunch of sensitive souls.
Here, have some tofu and a posy

to a simple stone
All hell on this earth
does not sum up this one line
"file:my book not found"
Death is the end of war
The rediscovery of peace
And the dawn of a higher becoming
EyeCandy (positively plagued with doubt).
> There once was a man from Nantucket..
LOL!! I have this urge to write about a 'bucket,' but I won't.
> This is like "Haiku" poetry. In fact I think it is.
Yeah it is Haiku, for some reason i forgot to mention it.

Butterflies in flight:
the journey's end...
Suma Akashi
Chirin:
In earth and sky
no grain of dust...
snow on the foothills.
Chogo:
I long for people...
then again I loathe them:
end of autumn
Choko:
This final scene I'll not see
to the end...my dream
is fraying

bound heavenward,

Her skin, too cold to touch,
Her mouth, no smile showing,
Her hair, still bands of black.
Her body, so still and silent,
Where once, all life had been.
But my heart holds her dearly,
Her life still runs within.
