Here we go again with Mr Bellend and Tittywhirl spouting garbage as usual.
How on earth is that supporting piracy? You lot think that just because someone has a chipped console, piracy must be the reason. "In theory", with XBox live, you can't use a chipped XBox unless you disable the chip. In which case, "in theory" the user must purchase the game in order to play on-line. What's the problem?

Yes, but he said its wrong, illegal to mod your xbox in any way, he then said but its ok to mod them to watch region free DVD's.
So its wrong to mod an xbox, but then its ok to mod it?

What he's saying is that it's OK to mod them for region-free DVD watching, since you're not harming the industry... But by going off and copying games off your mates and 'backing them up' on your XBox, you are inflating the prices.

Oh come on! Like you could use Mr T's immortal words convincingly. Not only are you a games pirate but you also dare imitate a legend.
It's actually NOT up to people whether (note the h) to chip their console, because it's illegal regardless of why you do it - read the small print in the Xbox manual. Fine, if people here have modded them to play all region DVD then fair enough, no problem with that - PS2 and Gamecube have similar legal ways of bypassing region protection on DVD and games respectively.
> No. It's just a Pez dispenser.
I own one of them :D
