I've seen a few posts of yours and like me you seem to be big into importing. Now seeing as La Pucelle Tactics and Star Ocean 3 aren't coming out for a few months yet i need a game to tide me over. I like most genres apart from fighting and platform games so have you got any suggestions? Preferably RPG's but i think i've got everything that's on offer.

I've just finished Suikoden 3, and while I wasn't that impressed with 1 or 2 I thought this one was awesome. Play length for me was 65 hours, and I managed to recruit all 108 characters ("stars of destiny"). The way the story is told it's pretty novel (excuse the pun) because you play five chapters, each from three main characters perspectives. You might think this would involve a lot of repetition, but there's usually a bit of a twist when you see events from someone elses viewpoint so it never gets dull.

It's quite an old game now, was fetching stupid prices when Konami decided to make a limited run but they have since gone back into production and now it's easy to find.

Playing 1 or 2 first is not essential. It would just help you to know basically what you are doing regarding the 108 stars, also some of these are returning characters and previous game events are mentioned. But it's a stand alone story.
