YES! YES!
Finally someone who recognises the supremacy of Tie Fighter (1994).... now of only they'd make a sequel.
I remember the imperial theme that played when a Star Destroyer arrived to finish the rebel craft with great nostalgia.
I second the vote for Tie Fighter! Plus, it boasted one of the best flight engines for it's time, with few mission boundaries, and a huge number of playable missions.

I've been using PCs since I was about 3. :^P

I loved it, it was I think the first management game I played and just the thrill of crafting your own multi-million pound transport empire from nothing kept me playing for weeks. I also like how you could get into pricing wars with your competition and eventually put them out of buisiness.
The only thing I didn't like about the game was the randomness. For example, spending thousands on a rail netwrok to transport coal from one place to another, when after it's all completed the Coal distributer closes down leaving you a usleless rail system. Still good fun though, too bad it never got a worthy sequel.
Theme Park
Theme Hospital
Worms
Command and Conquer

Bah, I barely had any PC Games 5-10 years ago. My first PC was in 2000 so yeah.
UFO: Enemy Unknown
BTW, Did anyone own 'Scorched Earth'? I failed to mention it earlier, but with its tiny talking tanks auiming missiles at each other, it was excellent.
