Bought this off eBay the other day, expecting it to arrive tomorrow, but I'm actually away for the weekend, rubbish.

Anyway, anyone else got this game? I played the demo and thought it was great. Couldn't put my finger on what made it so good, and I didn't get through it very far. Kept dying, but didn't mind replaying through again and again.

So, thoughts?

Well for one, the arenas are fine. They're all pretty big, out in open areas with plenty of hiding places, gun-turrets and the like, plus by playing through the one-player game and finding secret chips you can unlock new arenas, there are loads to choose from.

Even better, there are tons of gameplay modes to choose from, King of the Hill, Moving Hill, Deathmatch and the like are all here, and you can completely customise a play mode for something a little different.

You can take control of different vehicles (tanks and hovercrafts, whooo!) as well as a number of different robots with the Tether Control.

I wrote a review on it a week or so back which'll most likely give you a little more info.

The multiplayer arenas are great. As is multiplayer.

I liked the look of it, but the multiplayer shot on the back of the box made the multiplayer arenas look like small circular rooms, so I left it alone.

It's extremely shallow, and the controls can be a little crap, but it's great.

There's a lot of variety, massive battles, some hugely original aspects (building up your own army with Recruiter Bombs is a stroke of genius) and some of the FMV is brilliant.

How much did you get it for?
