Got this today and I have to say, it's really, really good.
After seeing NOM give it 57% I wasn't expecting much, but still got it because I've had high hopes for this for a while now, and luckily it's great fun. It is very easy (having said that, I've only played the first level a few times), but it's fast-paced and really good fun.
It just shows how crap NOM are.
Of course, I'll have to play it a little more to really see how good (or, indeed, bad) it is, but first impressions are great and I can imagine multiplayer is going to be very, very good. Certainly a nice surprise by Nintendo, redefining (in a sense) the racing genre.

When will people realise that outside of Games TM and sometimes IGN there is only ever ONE person reviewing the game and everyone has different tastes. Its an impossible task to enjoy every game that you are given to review.
A prime example of this is P.N.03 which was slated in the majority of reviews. Until I have played a game I will reserve judgement.

Just played City Trial and Top Ride. CT's very slow paced and can get a little annoying, but it's still great fun. As for Top Ride.... funking genius. Really, one of the most frantic play modes in any game EVER. I'm really, really loving Air Ride, one of the most 'Nintendo' games I've seen in some time.
