One day, I don't know when it is, maybe we will all go back to the simple days of sitting out in the sun and being baked like potatoes on a hot plate, staring at the bright blue sky.
Call me cynical, call me bored, call me whatever you want but I strongly feel that one day, this will happen. I don't know when, I don't know how and I don't know why but I believe that it will happen.
Just think about it, those beautiful blue skies, those lush green trees and those super stream-lined seas. Take yourself to your own happy place and clear your head of everything else ( even games! ).
Did that make you feel good? Better than games? If yes, then you have proved that my theory is correct that good ol' fashioned simple life.
Thank you very much for reading.
Shaneo.
I can't even see the sky cos my curtains are drawn to keep out the light.
All I need is a darkened room, a PC, and a games system, and some games.
I really know how to live, let me tell ya!
I think I'll go for a walk later.... nay! I'll play Crazy Taxi instead!
*Doesn't understand the concepts*
*Goes back to his Dreamcast*
(Damn that felt good. Cheered up yet, back as a gamer?)
Damn right. I'm a gamer, and that is how I'll stay.
The fact that you find looking out at a landscape appealling isn't because you're growing old, it's because you're not being entertained, and your mind is maturing from such crapfest games like Tomb Raider and Abe's bloody Oddysee, and you're trying to find games that will spark you off a bit more emotionally.
Try playing some rpgs, they're always great for things like that, something that's a bit more rewarding than reaching the end of a level only to find another one.

Ah, sunny ol' England.
