Yes, it only lasts around 10 to 15 hours, but the gameplay makes up for that tenfold. It's one of the best games I've played in ages and up there with the likes of Zelda as an astounding adventure title.
Plus, it's only £20.
Really, if it doesn't get a sequel, I'm blaming you lot.
To be honest, the game is fantastic. But I did a marathon 10 hours this weekend to finish it as soon as I could - got to one of the final scenes, and one of the side-characters disappeared from the game. Literally, just vanished. He's greyed out of the menu and I can't leave the current area without him.
To have good titles spoiled by massive glitches like this is a crime, I will probably never play it again.
Only problem with it is it's length... I managed to complete it in just over a day. Still, it does have quite a bit of replay value.
As for POP, completed it today with a weeks worth of on/off playing. Fantastic game, and I rarely ever had a problem with the camera.
> XIII isn't one of the best of this generation.
Dunno. As a shooter, no. But in terms of originality and storyline I reckon it could be considered.
> XIII and Timesplitters remain the shooters of this generation.
Hardly. Whatever you think of Halo its damn near impossible to argue that Call of Duty isn't the finest FPS game since Half Life.
