Sounds... odd. It'll probably end up being a lame cash-in in on a previously brilliant game, perhaps they'll add rubbish third-person sections, too.
We can hope, though, that they work with Nintendo with Goldeneye's engine for a Cueb exclusive.

Given Rare's track record on Bond FPSs, I'm not expecting much from this title. It's just a shame that it'll taint the Goldeneye name.

Given Rare's track record on Bond FPSs, I'm not expecting much from this title. It's just a shame that it'll taint the Goldeneye name.
Hopefully everyone will realise the two are unconnected. But I doubt it.

Okay, so if all of you that rubbished and screamed abuse at me when er-no did his "Goldeneye 2 N5 Launch Title" topic and I said it wouldn't be as good or as important would form a line to apologise....
Unless EA makes a decent Bond game, y'know one you can't complete on the first couple of tries....

No, actually what you said was 'The N5 does not need another Goldeneye type game'. Where as a fool quite clearly says this :)

ok, reading that article....what does this new game have to do with Goldeneye? it bears no resemblance to it whatsoever...like people have said on the comments on the page...they're talking about goldfinger or something...
