I was out testriding a motorbike today, and I can't decide on the colour to go for. The choice is...

Black, Red, Dark green, Bright blue.

Any thoughts?

So, you like Red \Faction then?

How about Ring Of Red?

The bike i testrode is a red one, and it was a very nice little bike, though i am off thisafternoon to ride a couple more.

If you go for red, more people will see you coming so there's less chance of getting hit by other motorists. On the downside you'll get pulled by the police more because red is a 'flash' colour, it automatically makes you look like you are travelling faster than you are.

Black makes you look like a greebo, but it depends on the type of bike you're getting.

Dark green is a traditional colour for British bikes, if it's a Honda or Suzuki or Yamaha go for bright blue.

Very good! someone who knows the deal. (not joking there)

Red is brighter, but less copper friendly. also, red has a higher insurance (dunno why)

the bright blue is pretty nasty, and the dark green is okay, but it doesnt suit the bike.

The red is still my choice at the mo (ta lexus) but i could be easily swayed if the black one im looking at this afternoon is a better bike mechanically, or jsut a better deal.

Its a Suzuki Bandit 600 if youre interested.

Red or Black then. Either go well with black leathers.

Atleast with red....

If you crash and get blood all over your bike it wouldnt show up as much.......

*David bites his tongue before he says anything else*

No...but seriously I would definately go for red.... Just looks flashier, thats all..
