Bullying head gaurd
Rape of newcomer
Passing things between cells in a sock
Old lag that can get anything you want
Old lag that keeps an animal of sorts
Brash new arrival that thinks he's the man

Cliche for Britich gangster movies?

Scruffy hair
Cockney
Vinnie Jones
Crap

Action Films


Cars/Petrol canisters explode when you shoot them (rubbish).

Homeless people are funnier and more knowledable than you'd think.

Buddy Cop Movie:

Two cops at both ends of the scale - one wacky, one quiet
Cops paired together
Cops try to stop drug deal/murder/kidnap
Cops think they hate each other and can't work together
The DI busts their a$$es
They learn to work together to bust the perp
They end up best of friends and drive off in a car together

America re-writes history so it looks like they save the day.

‘Anything’ School/Academy

Quirky kids that win the day in the end.
A girl who puts it about like it’s going out of fashion.
Some sort of authority figure who is destined to be the baddie.
A more downtrodden authority figure who the kids like.
Schlong jokes.

British Gangster movies

I'm not even going to go there - too many!

Action films:

Big pointless explosions
Trashing of police cars
Lone Hero who always "survives against all odds"
