"I haven't been able to study other hardware, so I can't say specifically. I would say the game would look prettier on Xbox. As for Gamecube, I have a feeling it isn't the right kind of game for this platform."
Good idea Turbonutter get behind that chair I suggest the rest of you join him...
WHAT!!!! Capcom, no, please!
Nintendo are making them selves seem more adult look at Eternal Darkness. I am hurt and disappointed, I thought Devil May Cry looked excellent, it's not that it might not come out on it; no it's the reason why it might not.
Hmmm what could he mean? Wouldn't look right, I WONDER!
Why not Capcom? Your bringing Resident Evil 0 and 4? Are you scared of Eternal Darkness or something? I am gutted as Nintendo have tried so hard to change their image to sop those sought of comments.
Look at Luigi's Mansion, sure it is still cute but the storyline isn't lets go to a castle in the sky to rescue a Princess, instead it's rid a mansion of ghosts! And with Luigi's new jeans I’d say it is much more older looking than the previous Mario and Luigi games.
Eternal Darkness and Too Human are Nintendo's first in house horror games as well and with Perfect Dark 0 and Conker 2 still to come I’d say Devil May Cry would fit perfectly.
So there you have it! Everything many others and I had tried to do to prove Nintendo isn't the kiddie console it has been labeled ripped up and we are forced to start again.

The thing is, Sony titles are gritty, the have substanance and maturity. Childish is the wrong word but it's a different type of game. Where's the violence? Where's the realism? Where's reality in it all? I don't know what it is but Sony games are a breath of fresh air and just appeal more to us.
> thats the second time tonight you've said "sont".
I know. I'm very, very tired but I must keep up my commitments to the FOG.
Meanwhile Mario and Luigi aren't childish? My PAretns enjoy them, so do I and many of my friends.
And so Nintendo arent childish and never have been!
Killer instinct, Resident Evil 0 and 4, Eternal Darkness, Conker 2, Perfect Dark 2, Too Human, Metroid, Turok Evolution etc... et...
So why do Capcom insist it is childish? With Resident Evil 0 and 4 (and maybe 1) i'd say Capcom don't think Nintendo are childish so why do one Capcom developer insist his horror game isnt right because for the Gaemcube?
Well actually, maybe a little bit ;-)
I've always known this would happen and I've said it many times before. I know Nintendo are trying to shake off their kiddy image (which they HAVE got) but they're not doing a very good job of it. Sure, there's Eternal Darkness, Perfect Dark and the rest, but it's not good enough. That's the only thing that's adult about it. Making it look like a purple child's building block doesn't help, and it IS Nintendo. But, as to Capcoms decision:
DMC is a very different type of game to the Resi series. Resi is tongue in cheek (allegedly) shock horror. It prays a little on your mind but in the end it's set-pieces. DMC however is gothic and atmospheric. There are a few shock tactics but in the end it's gory and rips your nerves to shreads. It's a 3rd person horror shooter adventure game. This is different to FPSs and shock survival horrors. Also, because they have nothing to do with Resi, Capcom don't think they'll attract the same interest as Resi. I think Capcom are hoping to appeal to followers of the series, but the audience isn't right for anything else because it won't have the same amount of interest. It's hard to explain.
Anyway, here's my predictions for the GameCube: The GC is a family console and although Nintendo are trying to get a maturer image for the casual gamers, the 3rd party developers won't take it on board and will leave it up to Nintendo. They'll realise they can't keep it up forever and so you'll see the odd title (Turok, PD) but nowhere near the amount that the PS2 or Xbox has. This is a good idea because Nintendo will be aiming for a market that Sony and Microsoft don't want, and so they'll have stronger sales.
