Tangent? I was merely pointing out that Konami don't dominate geners.
Oh and as we know from the PS2, popular doesn't mean decent. They have "popular" games within genres but the amjority of gamers would purchase a piece of sh*t with the PS2 logo on it.

Konami don't dominate genres.... hmmm what the hell is Bemani? Oh yes, it's a genre Konami created. What was one of the best RPG series of the last 10 years, oh yeah... Suikoden. What are the most popular arcade machines of the past few years... Silent Scope and Fighting Mania.. hmm, Konami games. Who developed that GBA game that revolutionised gameplay... Boktai? Oh yeah, Konami.

Konami don't even have the top stealth game anymore when it comes down to it, yes I enjoy Metal Gear more than most games but as a stealth game it has been destroyed by other similar titles that actually focus on stealth. Fair enough. Though I don't fill the forums with that much whining, and the top 10 seems like a reasonable place to start for someone who can't be bothered looking through vast back catalogues, incase there's a hidden gem. So please don't generalise about me :^p
One of your most anticipated games hasn't had a lot of press? Fair enough, but I liked the latest Topgun game. One person's opinion doesn't make a game great. I've had to reluctantly admit that :^)
