The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
There's probably a way of saying this in about 2 sentences, but it'll no doubt take me many, many words in a number of paragraphs.
Basically, vote for someone who you think writes well, and has your respect on the forums.
Please don't vote for someone because they are your mate, or because you want them to vote for you back.
I know the notable thing is a bit of fun, but it is slightly serious, but if people mess about then it loses all sense of importance.
I won't vote for some one just because they vote for me, and I wont vote for someone who asks me to vote for them.
And thats all I have to say on the matter. No doubt someone will come along and post the same thing, but in about 3 lines! There's always a smartarse.....

Notables are those that add something you value to the forum.
They could be serious and valid to games, moronic and humorous, long and involving, short and pointless.
Just someone that you feel is a major part of the forum for you, nobody else.
Not a mate or someone that has been here ages, just someone that you value and like to read.
