I'm off to America for 2 weeks tomorrow. A week in L.A. and then a week in San Francisco (or Frisco as I might call it).

But before you all kill yourselves, I shall be back 2 weeks on Wednesday.....

.....Probably anyway. If I make it through Compton alive. Apparently it's the most violent place in the world. But I have my shotguns so I should be okay. Hey, if the worst comes to the worst I can always call up Shaft.

Going to San Francisco. Take my advice:

Hitch a ride in an open-top yellow taxi, scream down Pacific Heights tipping the driver, ranting and raving, and when you get to your destination, jump out the cab with a somersault and shout: "Look at the time! You're a lousy driver!"

Can never be bothered. When I was younger it was always easier, and if bored I could play with my sisters (hey, I was young!).

My parents are into wondering round ancient churches and ruins. Exciting.

Its hard making friends on holiday.

Because it always turns out the same, I get bored.

You see, my parents are both 53 so are no fun whatsoever, and I'm crap at making friends.

How come?

I'm not going anywhere this year. Don't want to either. Had the chance to go anywhere I wanted, but I didn't want to leave my beloved forum. That and I'd be likely to drown my godamn parents by the end of the 2 weeks!
