I have noticed during the past few weeks, that BBC1 and 2 are starting to shoe some very good films. Friday, 'The President' and a Keanu Reeves film was on BBC1. Anyone else agrea with me here?

I'd completely forgotten the plot by the time it restarted.....

That's why it was so funny that in From Dusk Till Dawn Seth Gecko used the phrase "We're a couple of real mean motor-scooters" I bet people will think that's been edited when it gets shown on TV!

I don't mind ads on Ch4, as they tend to show the better movies, and BBC1 still interupts movies for the news for Christs sake.

I was watching that Jean Claude Van Damme movie last week, and couldn't believe it when it was stopped for the news!

Maybe, but I would rather suffer commercials for a film on Channel 4 than watch a cert 18 film, shown after the watershed that is still edited by BBC1 and ITV.

"You muddyfunsters" being the national joke in relation to dubbing technique.

Show films unedited after the watershed please, or don't show things like incest, rape, peadophilia and the cliche of "net stalkers" on soap operas at 7-8pm.

Just a little fairness is all I'm asking.

I find that BBC and C4 show the best films for my taste.

The more interesting films, sometimes foreign and they never edit them. It's nice being treated like an adult for once, maybe something to do with the fact that the general public is unaware that there are other channels apart from BBC1 and ITV?

Hope it stays that way myself, that way I can watch quality films with no editing.

Those muddyfunsters.
