Might be a silly question, but I'm genuinely interested.

Everyone is mad about GT3 at the minute, but if GT3 and the PS2 didn't exist, what would you do?

I suppose there's always Championship manager if you like football...but then not everyone likes football.

good enough enough to get into the englans side though hey?! shows the england side has some real quality strikers when andy cole is playing.

hmm...maybe. but if utd are playing somone like leicester on the weekend and Real madrid in mid-week, i'd be pritty certain that van nistelrooy wont play against leicester.

That's what he says... i've got a feeling that that isn't what will happen. He has a few more options now so he can afford to rest some of his midfielders occasionaly, but striker-wise i think he will find himself relying on Van Nistelrooy too much not to start him as often as possible.

ferguson said somthin about now he can save his best players for the champions league. could this mean that he wont play veron and van nistelrooy much in the premiership?

I reckon Van Nistelrooy will take that honour - i've got a bet on him at the bookies for top scorer at 6/1 - and judging by his pre-season form and the fact that Man U managed to score tons of goals last year without a quality striker, then 30+ goals will come easily to him. That's providing Alex Ferguson plays him all the time anyway....

it was only a testimonal game anyway. if it were for real, then celtic wouldnt have even scored! Veron...player of the year 2002.

He lost possession in his own half and gifted Celtic with a goal... But to be fair, he probably is the most talented player in the Premiership so we won't see too many of those. It was a good game though!!

i didnt see the Celtic game cos i dont have flippin sky ports extra. i hate it when they show football games on there. i missed the whole of the copa america becasue of that. doesnt matter anyway i suppose, argentina wernt even playing in it.
