You, members of the FOG, should try this game.
Several have already said they will, (Grix, YH, Sheepy, etc). How about the rest of you?
You don't need to buy the game, you just need to download it.
Get the demo from:
http://www.gamesdomain.com /demos/demo/67.html
or
http: //download2.activision.com /activision/netstorm /ns1051c.exe
Then you need to go to www.ndc1.com or www.floatingisle.com and download any 10.37 exe, and put it in the folder you extracted the demo to.
This gives you the full, working game.
Any questions, ask here or contect me on MSN (email is [email protected]) or on ICQ (number is 56365841).
You'll enjoy it whether you like it or not.
(Don't pay too much attention to that last sentence...)
;)
I haven't played it yet, so go easy on me!
:-)
You will be able to run it. Specs are not a problem.
I think it needs a P90 with about 16MB ram, and any SVGA or better monitor.
You also need a CD rom drive, despite the fact that you won't be needing a CD. (Dodgy, eh?)
(Not very far, I know, but I don't really have much else to do)
I would compare it to the likes of warcraft, etc - but it has one fundamental difference.
Units are automated (mostly). They don't move, they just attack from where they are built. Where you can build them though, is where the strategy comes in. Bridges become very important.
It's not really a game you can understand without having played it.
