It's a game. A very good RTS game.

You, members of the FOG, should try this game.

Several have already said they will, (Grix, YH, Sheepy, etc). How about the rest of you?

You don't need to buy the game, you just need to download it.

Get the demo from:

or
http: //download2.activision.com /activision/netstorm /ns1051c.exe

Then you need to go to www.ndc1.com or www.floatingisle.com and download any 10.37 exe, and put it in the folder you extracted the demo to.

This gives you the full, working game.

Just started the download for anyone that cares :-)

It's about 10MB to get the demo and the exe. I'm not too sure how long that will take.

You will be able to run it. Specs are not a problem.

I think it needs a P90 with about 16MB ram, and any SVGA or better monitor.

You also need a CD rom drive, despite the fact that you won't be needing a CD. (Dodgy, eh?)

RealTime strategy game.

I would compare it to the likes of warcraft, etc - but it has one fundamental difference.

Units are automated (mostly). They don't move, they just attack from where they are built. Where you can build them though, is where the strategy comes in. Bridges become very important.

It's not really a game you can understand without having played it.
