Invisible War felt like a step backwards in many aspects. I may not have gotten to grips with the story yet, but I've played it sufficiently to fully experience to main gameplay mechanics and how they work in varying situations.
Still a very good game though, by all means.
What I should point out though is saying the first is better than the second when you have yet to complete either is a bit odd since you don't know how either fully develops.

Nah, I'm hoping to finish the original first. Still only about three-quarters of the way through. It's a biiig game.

The old PC Baldur's Gate games are even better than the Ps2 versions.

I highly recommend both Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance games, they're really fun in co-op.
