Time to move forward with the Election of the next Notable.

One man one vote on August 19th.

You can only vote HERE - in THIS THREAD.

First vote counts - vote twice and you have spoilt your ballot. Don't sign up new names to vote more than one - or you'll be disqualified.

JAT's can't vote and NOR can anybody who signed up less between 1 and 5 days before the vote.

Don't vote for staff - they can't be elected.
Don't vote for JAT's or Newbies - they can't be elected.
Don't vote for Notables - they are already elected.

Do your campaigning here or all over the forums. Drive up your popularity as there can be ONLY ONE new Notable.

DON'T VOTE until August 19th.

When you do vote say "I vote for ...."

That's it. It won't be the same without the er-no campaign.
You er-no it makes sense.

Unfortunately I left my notes from earlier on at work. Clearly some adjudication is required here. I'm afraid the outcome will have to wait until at least tomorrow night.

I'll try to be fair.

See you then.

Good contest.

You will be able to vote all day on the 19th. Opening 00:00

Does this help clear things up?

hang on, there are two mistakes not noted here. One, it didn't state if you could vote for yourself;
and secondly, it doesn't say when the votes ENDS. Hello? it just says you can't vote before August the 19th. Hmm, what's going on?

maybe I'm wrong, but this is how I see the result.

Big_slow's vote was cast on Monday (look next to the post) and dav1d voted twice, Wookiee wins, right?

WOOKIE WINS.

David voted twice and some of Tw's votes are disallowed...

Wookie wins.

I think the key problem is that Dav1d voted twice.

It looks like Wookiee has won. But I will need to check.
