Yes, because I'm on first name terms with my good buddy Mr Gates. No I didn't actually copy it you ponce - I don't have the source to copy it from - it was given to me by a colleague at work, not that it makes a difference - it'll never get used therefore it will never cost Microsoft a sale.

Same could be said for you. Nobody can say they have never used pirate software - they'd be lying if they did.

As you said before, no-one cares, so why have you just told us that? Or is it preparation for your next immature trolling attempt?

Oh, and Edgy, we've been through this before. Don't try and tell us you have absolutely nothing even remotely illegal on your computer.
As for my version of XP Pro, it's fully registered.

Separately. I built my computer.
Trying to justify his use of illegitimate software by claiming everyone else has, when it quite clearly isn't true.
Nobody really cares, and Microsoft knows that the majority of home users use illegal copies of their OS. Most of Microsofts revenue from OS and related software comes from the larger corporate clients who buy licenses en-mass, and need to be seen to be street-legal.
If they cared so much they would copy-protect their CDs and make it bit more difficult to copy their warez. It wouldn't stop it happening, but the fact that they don't shows they are not really bothered. So why should you be bothered?

Wouldnt mind trying out longhorn. Got a spare computer in the attic so might do a install on that one :D
I agree AMD_MAN, Longhorn does look promising.
