My Favourites are FF7 and FF8, if I had to choose, which is near impossible I'd probably choose FF8.
I didn't really like FFIX much at all, I thought that Square should not have bothered with this one.
I have nearly all the FF games, apart from Final Fantasy XI.
And I definately need to spend some more time on FF X-2, which is definately unique, and is aready giving me some joy.

No it's not. It is a great game. But if you compare it to FF7 then yeah it is disappointing.

No, because if they made 8 then 10 then they wouldn't call it "FF 10", FF 10 would be called "FF 9"

A remake is pointless.
A sequel / successor would be nice, though I wouldn't be bothered if it never happens.
