I'm not too sure, but then, I have bought every other Tenchu game and got some enjoyment out of it - only this has Live play...
Let me know if any of you are planning to get it - We can go online tonight or tomorrow :)
And Unreal II made me laugh. OXM said 'it looks the same as the PC version', when all the screenshots they'd got were fuzzy, dull and nowhere near as beautiful as the PC game. However, they are just screenshots.....
Some cool nasty ways of despatching enemies - especially the extra character Tesshu. So far my favourite stealth kill move has to be when Tesshu grabs the enemy and pulls out their heart. ;-)
I can see the Live play adding a lot of longevity to this too. The moans I've heard on this game are on the AI - the fact that they tend to stop pursuing once they lose sight of you - but to be honest, I think this game would become really annoying if the guards just ran after you through the whole level. Getting caught once would ruin your score for that level. They do chase you down pretty well, but once you get on the rooftops, they tend to lose you which is pretty understandable - dunno too many people that would be able to leap up onto rooftops to chase someone. ;-)
Not that I've heard of too many burglers and the like that use grappling hooks to launch themselves onto rooftops anyway, but then thats the whole idea of the Ninja myth. And before anyone jumps in to say Ninjas were real - yes they were, but they didn't do stuff like leap 20 foot into the air and explode into a shower of cherry blossom petals. ;-)

Heh, thought you were talking about splinter cell 2, DONT WORRY ME LIKE THAT! :P
Although some of Tenchu ones elements were there such as the guy in blue you fight on the last level in number 1 turns out to be the guy in red you fight but dont kill because that was a prequel. The extra charcter was a letdown though though his martial arts were fun the Stealth Assasins new playable character was fun with all the X ray moves sort of thing stll magor letdown and I dont trust this new one.
