Close quarter sounds excellent for suicide runs lobbing grenades everywhere!
close quarter : Seemingly quite a small map, but with several levels. It's all indoor and the scenery consists of nothing but concrete and wood. As the name suggests it's all very tight, with only short distances being visible at any given time. this should hopefully make campers lives very difficult.
Sharin : Huge factory map. Full of cat walks, secret vents, huge rooms full of boxes, and a small outside area. Very impressive, although it's a snipers dream.
on the whole they should add a bit of variety to the levels we have. I'm happy that even now with these 3 new maps, no 2 play the same.
good stuff
2 new maps available, hhopefully later today...this was posted yesterday though so they might be available now *cums*

"And on a much happier note, two free brand-new maps are set to be released tomorrow, March 23, 2004! The two maps are titled "Sharins" and "Close Quarter" and will provide Rainbow Six 3 Xbox gamers with yet more fun-filled hours of online multiplayer gameplay!"
Ooooooooh sounds like they might even be totally new levels and not based on any of the single player levels.
