Every year they leave the competition crying... Nintendo truly rule the E3 games show ever year... and then they top that with their Spaceworld show a few months later.
Not last year. Not content on being the second year without a Spaceword, Nintendo also showed us a massive selection of "not too appealing" titles. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, a game unveiled a few weeks before was shown, the Zelda four swords games was unleashed as was Pacman Vs. and erm Metal Gear Solid. But overall, bar the collection of Pokemon titles... we were all feeling empty for the first E3 ever.
Can Nintendo make up for it this year?
How can't they?
Nintendo confirmed LAST YEAR that Wind Waker 2 (which will probably be released this year in Japan) will be shown in PLAYABLE form. Metroid Prime 2 will almost certainly be there in playable form. Of course Resident Evil 4 will be unleashed once again as will Killer 7. Not enough? English versions of Pikmin 2, Donkey Konga and Wario Ware will also be there. And maybe Mario? Unlikely but not impossible.
Then of course there are the third party exclusive's we've all heard about but never seen. Super Monkey Ball 3: Bannana Crazy would be greatly appreciated as would Final Fantasy: Guilty Wing... which judging on the fun factor and originality of Crystal Chronicles will sure to rule no matter what sort of game it is. Expect Silicon Knights to show their next game after Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes... and maybe we'll finally see Mario Tennis.
So with that in mind and not to mention the unveiling of the DS and a few games.... how can Nintendo not have a good E3 this year.
I cannot wait. Can you?
