He said "the PS2 is good if you are still living in the 90's, The Gamecube is great if you are five and the X-box is fantastic, unless you don't like first person shooters."
There is a hidden truth behind them all, The Gamecube does have a children's demographic but any Nintendo fan will tell you there are adult games and the kiddy titles are enjoyed by everyone. Especially noteing the Resident evil series.
The PS2 is a bit outdated yet they still drive the industry, in the 90's or not and the X-box... despite its 3 biggest titles this year all being first person shooters... has a strong hold in great online titles and racing games.
Tw@t springs to mind.

Just look at that terrible 'Gamezville' show on Sky One. Two 'Homies' who look like extras from a Blackstreet video, tell us how Halo 2 is GOING TO ROCK, and kids the age of 5 are asked their opinions on games like Resident Evil.
A lot of the early games, and indeed many new ones are aimed primarily at the younger market, but a great many gamers are tax paying adults, who like to kick back and have a go at blasting some virtual people, or their mates, after the pub. You only need to spend 5 minutes on Live, playing Rainbow Six 3 to see that.
90% of gaming shows or magazine articles are written by people who were never around when games were first starting out, or have no idea whatsoever what terms like 'collision detection', 'game physics' or 'replay value' mean. And we are constantly patronised and made to think that gaming isn't a serious pass-time, just because it still has this childish stigma attached to it.
It isn't all like this. Edge magazine is a far more mature approach to this leisure activity, and a refreshing break from the 'IT ROCCKKKKSSS' over the top dramatizations we see in tabloid newspapers and gash shows like Gamezville. 'Gamepad' on Bravo, despite sporting a presenter that looks like a cartoon character, also goes some way to taking the gaming industry seriously. Well, 'some way'. It's definitely the best of a terrible bunch of loud and annoying crap that is clearly made for children. After all, they're the only ones who would be sad enough to play silly computer games, aren't they?
I mean just look at that XBox/FPS comment - that in itself just underlines what a mong the guy is. It'd be interesting to see what the PC has to offer - oh thats right, 90% of the time its FPS games. If not that, you tend to have a massive choice of flight sims or RTS games.
Just laugh and ask that question - who employs these trollops ?
