I had stereotypes... they maybe slightly true but I hate them normally. In a recent Sun article a writer named John Sanders criticises all 3 home consoles out claiming "PC is the way to go".

He said "the PS2 is good if you are still living in the 90's, The Gamecube is great if you are five and the X-box is fantastic, unless you don't like first person shooters."

There is a hidden truth behind them all, The Gamecube does have a children's demographic but any Nintendo fan will tell you there are adult games and the kiddy titles are enjoyed by everyone. Especially noteing the Resident evil series.

The PS2 is a bit outdated yet they still drive the industry, in the 90's or not and the X-box... despite its 3 biggest titles this year all being first person shooters... has a strong hold in great online titles and racing games.

Tw@t springs to mind.

No self respecting gamer takes a newspaper seriously - the Leicester Mercury gave Spice World 10/10!

What Dringo meant was that the sterotypes are all there.

It's like calling the Gamecube a kiddies console, just a stereotype because it's the impression that the flagship titles leave.

Talking of which, is Halo 2 out yet?
Is Kameo out yet?
Is Rare doing anything new yet?
They're meant to have 4 more Xbox games released by this time next year! :-O

GTA: Box Set
Madden 2004
KOTOR
PGR2
Freedom Fighters

Those are my top five X-Box titles, none are first person shooters. This proves that John Sanders is talking through his ass.

As for PC gaming, well, I obviously have a PC but I have no games for it at all, the reason being that I find PC gaming too complicated. I mean I have went into stores and looked at some PC games, but there's always a list of system requirments written on the back of the case, and I have no idea what half the stuff means.

With a console you just buy the game, put it in the machine and you're off, which is why console gaming will always get my vote.

PC's are the most versatile, yes. But I got a console because I was sick of forking out tonnes every two years or so, to update my machine for newer games.

Sorry, but no console can offer me games like the Total War series and other 'exclusive' titles that are far deeper and interesting than most generic console titles.

However, the GC/Xbox are obviously much better than this idiot thinks, but PCs, despite being represented by that idiot, are really the best gaming platforms.

But then again, Nintendo have made all my favourite games...

Only two exclusives and they're part of a series, as is Splinter Cell. God that's possibly the worst example anyone has ever thought up EVER! No offense.

I find ironic how he claims PC is all the way when the XBox is crap if you don't like FPS'. Ha! Other than RPG's (better of which can be found on the PS2, and soon the Cube will a fair array of AA RPG's) and FPS', PC gaming doesn't appeal to me at all.

What a stupid, retarded cockface. I love to kick his stupid little ass on REAL games (ie MK:DD :-D). Anything the PC can do, consoles can do better.

Nice one. Make sure you get SC2 as quick as you can though, otherwise everyone else will have an advantage.

That's my main problem with R63, by the time I started playing it, everyone else were pro's at it :(

It's still fun though.

It's first-person. It's so cheap because it's basically online only (the offline is wrist-slittingly poor) and the game itself is pretty old anyway.

Buy it. You know you want to.
