If it's true, and Nintendo are going to launch this, I feel it's too far into the Gamecubes lifespan. Way, way to late.
And ninty might have used their own desktop design to save the hassle of doing a new one yet.
But they're long shots, it's probably a hoax I suppose...
Nintendo might be doing an online service - and one of these crazy French people might know about it, and is merely expressing an Artists Impression.
*holds on to that small piece of hope*
"As suspected, all signs point to this report being a hoax. While the magazine exists, and this report actually did make it to print as best we can tell, the story itself is all nothing more than a pretty well-orchestrated April Fool's joke.
The first big tip was the picture of the Logitech headset. We found it on Logitech's web site, (http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/products/
details/US/EN,CRID=1632,CONTENTID=7010). The impressive gadget is already available for sale from Logitech's web site, but at an astronomical (read: not to be sold through by Nintendo) \$99. It's actually already for sale, but designed for mobile phone use. That means that the magazine probably just took a couple pictures of one it already had on hand then used Photoshop to make it appear bluer. It's also a bluetooth device, which would help to underscore how impractical it would be to use in conjunction with the GameCube.
The only other at all convincing portion of the magazine is the screenshot of the login screen, which is apparently nothing more than a PC mockup using a Windowblinds desktop theme that was put out by Nintendo of Europe themselves."

I suppose there's still a chance.....
That's for each SD card you have.
They decided to limit its compatability, so that it can't be used as a regular memory card (so they could screw us out of more money), and will only work with games designed to be compatable.
So it won't be backwards compatable with old games, but it'll be able to do the job of a hard drive.
And if they brought more Broadband adapters out, then I might be able to buy one for PSO 2. Broadband adapters and so much money at the moment, because they are as rare as rocking horse poop!
If this is real, and Nintendo decide to go through with it, they i will be a very happy bunny.
And as for the hard drive- they probably bring one out. They have just brought out a big memory card too...
