Anyone know what the price of GC games is going to be. I plan to get a Gamecube but I might not if the games are expensive. Someone must have a rough idea.

Estimates from Dringos conservative £35 to my expected £60, big gap there.

Bonus is basing it on the early N64 prices.

Nintendo have learnt there lesson.

What's more, optical disks are far cheaper than the bulky old cartriges.

Expect £30 - £40, roughly the same as the PS2.

If they are £60 then I definately wont be getting one but £35-£40 would be not to bad.

I reckon there gonna be about the same price as playstation games about £35-40 theres no way that Nintendo could get away with charging £60 for a game, but then again if its a Nintendo game then i would probably pay that much if i had to.

I based it the fact that the american games will be $55 at release, that's usually a direct convert into pounds.

The American games will not be $55.

Nintendo have stated they're matching the competition.

I.E. They'll cost the same as PS2/Xbox games or possibly less.

The most expensive game on the N64 I think was Turok 1 and that was 70 pound!

A close second would be between Lylat Wars (with Rumble Pack) and Conkers Bad Fur Day...or maybe Pokemon Stadium....but what about..............

Well ok the N64 have had some pricy games but I think that GC games will be roughly 40-50 quid max.

okay but the price of the console is not taking a direct conversion from the american price. its gonna cost $199 in the US and its a rumored £160 for UK. so surly the games will follow suit.
