You know the sort, like Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy VII (I missed work for 3 months because of Final Fantasy games).
Are there any games that you have now or are thinking of getting that are going to take over your life during term-time to the extent that you're gonna skip a few days?
To game or not to game, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous truancy officers etc...
For me, I reckon Crazy Taxi 2 or Skies of Arcadia on the Dreamcast are going to drag me away from working for a while. But then I don't really work that hard anyway and when I do it's on a self employed basis.
Then I started work again around the time I got FF8, which was bad news for my employer basically.
Since I went self employed I just have to write myself a sicknote, so it's not a problem anymore.
Bloody hell, that must be one addictive game!
I have to confess, I've never missed any lectures because of games. I've stayed up 'til 3am playing B&W, but luckily I didn't have any lectures 'til 11am the next day, so I still made it in.
