I can't wait to see A.I. I studied the trailer in my media unit in English and it looks damn good. It's out in September over here, isn't it?

In fact, I might get to see it tomorrow. I'm going to America you see and on the plane there are 8 new release movies and 4 classics. (If I upgrade to first class then there are an extra 40 movies.....but I'm not.) The trouble is, I don't know what they mean by new releases. Is it new out in the cinema in America or UK? Or is it new out on video/DVD in America or UK? Who knows?

Any money that they have Gone with the Wind as a classic though!

I've had it for nearly a week already anyway, came along with AI and Final Fantasy - both similarly unwatched... which begs the question why I got them in the first place. Well, they were nearly free and may get watched after I see it in the cinema but before (and if) I get the DVD.

I've got an idea to prevent you from watching it.

'Burn it' (and I'm saying that in a William B Davis voice, aka Cancer man)

Although, you wrote that 3 hours ago. You've already watched it haven't you.

Enjoy it mate. I'm currently figting off the temptation to watch the VCD of it sitting on my desk, mere inches away from my CD-ROM drive... , mere feet away from my DVD player, big TV, quality sound set up and comfy couch...

Must resist, will be better in cinema...

I really wish I hadn't now though as The Perfect Storm is now (officially) awful. And it's nice to always have a lot of Nicholas Cage's films in your collection!

Errr...don't laugh at me here but the first time I saw it I thought it was okay. The thing that saved it was the relationship between Murph and Sulley (I think that was his name....William Fichtner anyway). That was damn good.

So.....I swapped it permanently with my mate for Bringing out the Dead. DVD that is. Bringing out the dead was onre of the funniest films ever the first time you see it but all the jokes are funny because they are unexpoected. The second time you watch it, there are about one or two funny bits.

'Don't make me take off my sunglasses'

and

'Yeah, Markus it was also the wind. My black as$ it was the wind. That was Jesus!'

Fair enough, The Perfect Stom was a disaster for all involved and should be bannished to some mystical movie graveyard, never to be seen again. I think we can agree on that.

Now hold on a minute. I thought George Clooney was actually very good in Oh Brother but I still don't like him. And he WAS poor in The Perfect Storm. I'm just saying Wahlberg was worse. Much worse.

And since we're talking about The Perfect Storm (well, sort of), I just have to say, 'Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio'. What a name!

At the risk of starting another argument over Mr Clooney's abilities and your insinuation I won't mention Three Kings, O Brother Where Art Thou or U-Turn...

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
