The 20,000 point GamerScore Challenge. Many websites like to follow the progress of gamers and the most common way of doing so is by monitoring the number of GamerScore (GS) points (gained by unlocking achievements) a player has.

I put this challenge to you. My individual goal (HM) is to increase my GS by 20,000 points by September 1st 2010. As this seemed a popular idea, many freeola users have jumped in with their own personal challenges.

If you are interested in joining the challenge, just post your target score and how many points you are away (or just a target amount), along with your Gamertag and I'll put you on the board below.

Keep posting updates when you unlock achievements. The best way (and most manageable) would be to post the game title and the number of points achieved from the start date of your target. For instance: if I had a Viva Pinata and unlocked 600 points, I would post: "Viva Pinata - 600 points".. Points gained from before the target date do not count.

LAST UPDATE - gr13ve - 8 games - 695 points

Lets see how we get on...

HM - 20,000 point increase

Thanks GP. Gotten a little behind as went out pretty much straight from work last night to watch the Manchester derby.

Have a few more to add from Madagascar Kartz, but can't remember how many, so will check when I get back and update it then!

EDIT: gr13ve - hopefuly you will get over 650 points and that elusive last feather!

Okay, I have edited the above post with the fact that I've finished Tomb Raider Legend. It says 840 points because I had 160 already before this challenge started. It doesn't count as fully completed as I have to buy the Anniversary packs to get those achievements for it to count to completion.

Next on the list is Assassins Creed, although I'll probably be finishing PGR3 before I start that.

Added a total of 60 points tonight - got 4 achievements on Assassin's Creed 2. Only have the feathers to go and the one for wearing the Auditore cape in each city but I can't do that 'til I find that last feather!

Been playing Assassin's Creed 2 again, thought I'd go back and see if I can finish up the achievements - got 10 points woo. Used a map to find the feathers and...I've got 99 out of 100! Can't find the last one. Anyone know if theres a way to check what region you got the feathers in? Don't quite fancy going through the whole map again. This happened to me on gta san andreas with the hidden packages!

No news on my next game, i sent the last one back Monday, so i guess i will get it delivered Friday?? Is a bit of a long procedure in waiting on stuff, but guess if you have 3 discs allowed then your constantly getting stuff or got stuff to watch.

Will try do a bit more on MW2 to get some more points i think.

I had a quick session online with Motorstorm AE and my current points are 10402... it would have been more had I received points for my 1st place finish in the 2 races where everyone else quit.

With my 40 points from Midnight Club LA last night my gamerscore is 17,536. I think I'll copy Emmie and go for the 25,000 mark since I can't neglect the PS3. Not convinced I'll get anywhere near it but no hamr in trying.

In terms of Motorstorm I am heading for Rank 4 which requires 22,500 points. I'm currently on something like 10,053. There is at least one more ran after that but I won't know what points are required until I reach the 22,500 rank but I imagine it will be quite high. I play this every lunch break I can so I can give regular updates for my points total.

I am now at 17,646 bagged a few on MW2 last night and on Vandal Hearts, but all worth like 10GS, slightly annoying, seeing as i went from having about 4 in MW2 to now having 16 Achievements lol.

I will put in that i will aim for 25,000 (due to use of Ps3 etc and it seems like a nice number to reach)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
I am delighted.
Brilliant! As usual the careful and intuitive production that Freeola puts into everything it sets out to do. I am delighted.
