Fiscal year ending March 31st pre-tax etc profits were £260 million or so. A lot yes, but only half of what was predicted. Oh dear.

Still some of it was to do with the dollar being so weak against everything compared to a year ago.

This years forecast is £570 million.

Phones ring people, big fooking whoopee do. I don't need games and a load of fancy crap to know how to ring people. The GBA SP is hardly a gigantic piece of hardware... oh wait its portable...

We already have a mobile phone-cum-games console and it's a whopping success.

Why, what better game could there be to play on your mobile phone - when and where-ever you are - than a classic 8-bit Super Mario adventure from the series' early days, eh?

Beats all the crap you get on today's phones by a mile, anyway. You never know... Miyamoto's greatness may even be enough to tempt "unbelievers" like myself into ditching our standard phones - and phones-only - for something more expensive, more over-the-top and "cool"...!

I mean, after NDS, they're gonna needs `something new´ to stay one-step-ahead of their rivals, aren't they... ;)

They should start doing mobile phones.

Or not.

Reason being - they're still not learning from past mistakes.

They have improved as a whole, but only by a small amount.

Point is they are not going to go bankrupt this year, they don't think they will next year, but they are not the most profitable company in video games.
