He was nowhere near as hard to beat as Chai in Shenmue I. And the man who was SUPPOSED to be as hard as Chai to beat (the man with the whiskers in the Yellow Head building who kidnapped Joy) because he had the same music as Chai was so easy that I beat him first time.
I just can't wait until Ryo gets a descent boss to fight like Lan Di or something, whenever you kill him, you'll have a great sense of achievement but even better than that you'll be able to say that class line:
"My name is Ryo Hazuki, you killed my father, prepare to DIE!"
andy.
ps. Can you spar with anyone in Shenmue II?, I tried to spar with Jianmin but I couldnt, there was no option for asking to spar or anything like it.

I don't mind bosses in principle, it's just that most of them are repetitive, boring and just dumba$$ stupid.
Beating the big guy on the roof of the skyscraper in Shenmue 2 was good.
But the last boss in Headhunter - he was just thick as a brick. If he could take God knows how many rounds of ammo in the chest, why didn't just attack Jack Wade and rip him apart instead standing like a turkey in the middle of the room.
I know, I know, it's only a game.
The last boss was a pain. Does anyone like end of game bosses? I'm utterly sick and tired of them. I just don't know why 99% of action/adventures feel the need to bring the game to a climax in this fashion. Surely it's time to think of something new and different.
Does anyone knoe if there is anything new when you play it though a second time??.
It was a good game but not as good as I hoped, and the last boss was bloody hard!
I'm listenin tae Green Day's International Superhits, anyone else got it? That is TOP NOTCH stuff.

I know. That's why I'm interested in it. A colourful musical flying shooter from Sega. Sounds flippin' fantastic!
