The flashlight is somewhere in Ryo's house - perhaps in a cabinet near hte phone.
I think you can buy bulbs from the "Tomato" store.
Batteries for the torch can also be bought there.

The thing with Shenmue is you need to take your time and take in the atmosphere. You could easily rush your way through the whole game in one afternoon if you wanted to but you would miss out half the experience. The first disk is a little slow but it helps you to get to know the characters. I took 5 days to complete the game and I loved every minute of it.

Why "before" I complete the first one?

Anyway, good graphics it's just that I've finished disc one and I don't feel like I've done anything, sure I've interacted a lot it's just it's all I seemed to do. Not much action or fight scenes more of a run about here talk to him then run over there and talk to her.

On disc 2 now, in some dock type area.

I still like it though. How long would you say for someone to finish this game?

ive had it since its release date and I also have shenmue 2 and am getting shenmue 2x........nawww owws ya daddy??.
Ive seen shenmue 2 floating around secondhand for £15 get it as soon as you can, before completing the first game!

I got shenmue yesterday, wahooo! It had only been in the shop two hours and I picked it up. been looking for this game for ages and it was only £10!

pso is one disk, but psov1 came with a bonus disk that had a sonic 2 demo and psov2 comes with dreamkey 3, also you dont need psov1 to play v2
