YAY! About 20 minutes ago now, Sonic Adventure and my replacement Shenmue game both arrived in the post via a very-late Royal Mail service! :D
WOW! The Shenmue discs look brand new, but the Sonic ones are a little scratched. Cool - there's a Sonic Adventure 2 Trial Disc in it too! :)
I remember seeing that Eb used to sell them, but does anyone know anywhere that still sells those Dreamcast Replacement Games Cases??
It's just that those little rings that keep the CD's in place are broken in the cases of these 2 games.

Oh.... well, I don't have an Official VMU anyway.
All my games are saved onto one of those 4mb Blue Memory Cards - the ones you get from SR. 4 lots of 200 for me. :D
I'm not really that bothered if it's just for a Tamagotchi-style game.
So it's not like the on-screen Chao thingys on SA2: Battle on the GameCube then??
I got a phonecall from Gamestation today to say that I won't be able to get Sonic Adventure Brand New anymore. :(
But at least I can get it cheaper, pre-owned though. :)
It could come Monday at the earliest.

Just to warn you, the Sonic ADventure VMU game, is not really a game, but its a Chao cyber pet, you need the VMU screen to play it. Its very good, reminds me of the tamagotchis, but you can fight with them and do loads of things. Its worth it.....
But the warning is..... the cyber pet takes up 120 BLOCKS ON YOUR MEMORY CARD!!!!!!!!!!! MUCH MORE THAN HALF THE MEMORY SPACE!!!!!

I got Soul Reaver with my Dreamcast as it came in one of those bundle things.
Anyway, I exchanged it for something else as it wasn't really my type of thing. Take that into account and you'll be able to safely say I didn't like it.
Don't get me wrong though, alot of GOOD things have been said about it, I think more good then bad anyway. The thing is, it just wasn't my type of game.
The games very dark, atmospheric and does get a bit tedious at times. But if you think you'll enjoy the story then you'll love it.

I've seen some footage of it on a Demo Disc and I have to say I was impressed. I've also heard quite a lot about it too.
But one thing I am concerned about is that it might get a bit repetative and boring after a while - from what i've seen...
So, what's it like??
And in Sonic Adventure, it says on that Demo that you can do stuff with the Animals if you save them to your VMU.

Ive been telling everyone that aswell Nomad.... every shenmue fan MUST buy it on XBOX if weare to see Shenmue 3. I certainly am!
I have heard of that rumour, so far its only going to be released in US, they have said nothing of a EU or JAP release!!! I dont know how Shenmue 2 is meant to sell well if its only going to be for sale in the US. So I imagine that it will be released in Europe, I would have thought selling Shenmue 2x in Japan, would help to boost sales a bit aswell... it would be a wise decision from Microsoft if they made it a universal XBox release!!

So they've cancelled that order, while i'll still get Shenmue and Crazy Taxi - which were both dispatched yesterday. :D

Shenmue 3 is coming to the Xbox, there isn't much information about but the word around is that you will be able to carry your Shenmue 2X (due for release december) save over into Shenmue 3. I like you can not wait for the next installation, the series is awesome but the wait is terrible!
