>>Also, I played the N64 version of Quake for the first time in ages last night. What's the single player mode like on Quake III Arena. Is it levels like the original Quake, or is it all frag arena stuff against computer opponents?
--I know Quake on N64 is terrible! Well i dont really like it im just sooo glad DC has come up iwth an almost perfect version, Quake 3 Arena. That has to be one of the most prized games i have on my DC, it is the only game so far that i have not actually got bored of!!!!
You wanted to know what it was like in single player. Well you can play single player and do all the other things, but on your own.
But because it is called Quake 2 ARENA, you dont haev a story mode. As in Quake 3 its like a doom version, you walk around and defeat the end bosses. Because you fight in arenas, you simply have to fight in arenas against eth computer, if you beat the computer you move onto the next arena, each arena getting a bit harder than teh first, and at the end of every level you face a boss. It goes on like that really... ITS GREAT FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
