That means I have a wife.
We bought a new 28" widescreen TV last year.
We bought a great Samsung TV, in a lovely silver colour.
We had to replace our VCR just after Christmas.
The main feature that my wife was looking for was not Video Plus, Long Play, auto-tuning, or anything, but that it was also in silver.
Now do you really think that a black console is ever going to be allowed beneath the television?
The N64 just about gets away with it, as it's more of a deep gray other than a black -but the Playstation 2, that's as black a pitch.
So I'll get a GAMECUBE.
As long as it comes in a silver that matches the TV and the VCR.

What do you mean by moving parts?
And didn't I mention that they would be covered up/

It was originally planned for GC to come out in several colours, silver being one of them, but now it's been reduced to the original purple colour.
I have the same problem as you, so I'm going to do the same thing as I did to my N64. Try it yourself if you want:
Switch off the console and cover up all the important parts (plugs, lenses, vents etc.) so you don't damage it.
Now get some acrilic paint or spray paint and colour it silver, or paint a picture on it. Take of the tape and carry on as normal.
Hope that prevents a divorce. Just kidding!
Try it out. It works.
I tink you should sort yer b*tch out Meka.
My wife is looking for one that has much blue on it, to match the new sofa.
Honestly.
Very funny.

Well I AM a Ninty.
What do you expect?
