Enter for in depth conversations on the living, breathing legends that is Feeder.

Anything from their early, grungy metal to their present upbeat / uplifting rock. They have contributed to Rock music things that other bands can only dreaming of. By writing their own lyrics and music, only doing live performences and playing their own instruments they put teeniebopper favourite's "S Club 7" in their place.

Having added numerous awards worldwide including "Greatest Heavy Metal Band Album of 1997" for their debut full album "Polythene."

Named the best Live band around, they overwhelm onlookers at festivals and concerts worldwide including in Japan, U.S.A, Germany, Italk, France, Spain and of course, The U.K.

No matter what mood, circumstance or emotional condition you're in, there's always a Feeder song to suit your situation. From the uplifting catchiness of Top 5 hit "Buck Rogers" to the moving and inspirational "Yesterday Went Too Soon."

Whether you like Rock, Pop, Metal, Indie, or Nu Metal, Feeder has a place in their Kingdom for you, and your dinner table is waiting for you to be uplifted by the bands amazing musical talent.

To summarise... God Save Feeder.

Longy, we've been through this, and I swear on my life with God as my witness that I never told you about Feeder before Buck Rogers.

Until recently, Two Colours was the ONLY Feeder CD I didn't own (it was only available at their very first concerts, which I was unable to attend) but I've been able to get it from a friend of a friend, thus completing my collection.

Do you have the "Two Colours" disc then? Where did you get that from?

Prefer the original Two Colours Version to the reissue, it's a masterpiece. Pure grunge. In fact I'm gonna go listen to it...

Ahhhh.

Downloaded "Chicken on a Bone" yesterday. Should have gotten it so much earlier! It's a bleedin' quality song.

Takes me back to my old Gran Turismo days too!

I just named my four other favourite bands because you asked me too.

Hmm, I have no problem with it so I think I'll leave it.

Rainier, I KNOW THOSE LYRICS! Possibly my favourite EVER Feeder song! Grrr. I'll leave it for other people but I'm doing it grudgingly! >:-(

As you wish SK....

"It's funny now it seems,
maybe i can dream a little.
It's pulling me inside,
as the wheel still turns"

Again, lets see if someone else can get it before you say SK!

*cringe*

Seriously though, I'm not gonna bother with this thread. So what if you've heard of bands I haven't heard of. FYI I've vaguely heard of 3 of those 4 bands (I have some My Vitriol stuff), but I could name bands that you haven't heard of and it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to any of our lives. My criteria for music changes almost as much as my pants do (about once a week), and I find myself looking for something I'll enjoy, something that'll make me think, something original, but Feeder never provided me with any of these things. Fair enough you seem to have some sort of infatuation with Feeder, but that's your problem and I'll leave you to deal with it. Just don't get too attached. All those Manics fans who still dress like them and go to all their gigs - even though the only one that ever meant anything has been missing for years! Makes me shudder. Try and remember why you started listening to a certain band and don't forget why they started making music. *sobs* Look what you've done, you've made me cry. That was beautiful man!

Hmm, don't see how you can say that, I really like Yesterday Went Too Soon's lyrics, but here are a few others:

"Dry:"

"Trying hard to face another day
No more left to give, nothing left to break
Melting in the sun, breathing in the day
Falling into love and climbing out again

There's nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The river's running dry
There's no more left to give
Love has left me blind

Reaching out beneath a sea of pain
Riding high on wings of hope again
Chipping as the stone face cracks away
Crying out again as my bones break

There's nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The river's running dry
There's no more left to give
Love has left me dry...

Why is every minute like a year?
What if we could save ourselves from this?
Life is a such b*tch and it gets worse
Fate is like a rope around your neck

There's nowhere left to run
No more tears to cry
The river's running dry
There's no more left to give
Love has left me dry...

Love has left me dry..."

"Forgiven:"

"Calling out in pain
Sweat upon my headache
Making me feel bad
Picture it again
I must be dreaming
Maybe I'll walk high

High, takes me in
High, I hear you say

Forgiven, I wish I was
Forgiven, the waters part
Reaching out to say

Thinking of the days
Walking by the trees, sway
Staring at the sun
Little child is me
Pain is taking over
Smiles that turn to stone

High, takes me in
High, I hear you say

Forgiven, I wish I was
Forgiven, the waters part
Reaching out to say

You heal the scars I hide
You drink the tears I cry
I'm reaching out to touch
The angel of my life
Forgiven, forgiven, forgiven (I wish I was)

I wish I realized when you were still alive
Make peace inside my head
The ghost of you arrived
Forgiven, forgiven
I wish I was, I wish I was
Forgiven, forgiven
I wish I was, I wish I was
Forgiven

Wish I was"

"Suffocate (Re-release):"

"Show it to us one way
I've gotta see it all
Scientific radar
Reaching through the storm

There's gotta be hope
As people move on
There's gotta be hope
We've gotta keep on believing

It's time to give it everything
A world united, let us in, but hear me, hear me cry
Suffocate, let 'em die
A better life to say goodbye, but hear me, hear me cry

Pray is all I can say
We've gotta keep it all
If only we could be free
Don't wanna be left alone

There's gotta be hope
As people move on
There's gotta be hope
We've gotta keep on believing

It's time to give it everything
A world united, let us in, but hear me, hear me cry
Suffocate, let 'em die
A better life to say goodbye, but hear me, hear me cry

I see everything silver and gold
Way up, I'm reaching out
Clouds white as snow

There's gotta be hope
We've gotta keep on believing

It's time to give it everything
A world united, let us in, but hear me, hear me cry
Suffocate, let 'em die
A better life to say goodbye, but hear me, hear me cry"

If you're still not convinced, I've got a couple of others up my sleeve.
