.........with my friends Game Boy Advance that is!

For those ofyou who haven't experienced playing a GBA you may think that that statement is a bit over the top, but it truely isn't. The GBA brings all of the fun from the Snes era back into the present and improves upon it. My love for gaming has returned. For this, I thanks Nintendo.

Well why exactly is it so good? Well its great for many, many reasons.

First reason. It brings back all of the classic Snes games and allows people to play them for a secondtime or if they never got to experience them the first time, for the first time. I have always said that the Snes games were the best and the GBA has proved my point.

Each of the games released has been a joy to play and make you want to play them for hours on end. Much like the old days when you would sit at your console for hours playing a Snes classic. Gameplay??? Packed to the brim each one. Take GT advance for example.

Never has a racing game, let alone a handheld one held my attention. Mind you once my mate lent me his GBA I had a very different impression of the genre. The game has breathed lifeinto themm for me. A bit like Zelda:Alink to thepast did for RPGs to me.

Point two. The graphics are outstanding! I know that graphics aren't everything , but we all know that deep down inside graphics are a major pull factor of games. Take for example you had the choice of a Ps2 or a Nes.Which would you pick?

The Nes. Brilliant gameplay and outstanding graphics for it's time, but now....they are increasingly looking a bit dated (to be nice). Now the Ps2. Gameplay??? Okay it has good games, but in no way does it have enough gameplay to challenge the Nes. Graphics wise however it takes it by the rear and kicks it out the door. Which would you choose?

I know which i would choose, and thats why the GBA is such a joy to me. It puts gameplay to the max and gives you a handheld with graphics good enough to make you cry. In one word........

.........SUPERB!

Oh yeah!n I always forget about EB. The one in Norwich is hidden away somewhere, that's why. I'll have to go and try it out.

Thanks.

Try Electronics Boutique. I was able to try before I bought it, and they've still got their playable GBA behind the counter for anyone to try!

So if you ask, and they refuse, just ask them to ring Cardiff's Electronics Boutique.

I've got a GBC and a GBA.

I got the GBA so I could play games with decent graphics. 4 player modes, extra buttons for games, bigger scren, better sound quality, etc.

I take it you haven't played on a GBA before?

What's the point getting one if you already have a GBC?

All the GBA gives is better graphics.
