The sun is burning hot, I'm off to my girlfriend's place tonight and...I just bought Max Payne for the PC.

Reading it (curse being stuck at work) and looking at reviews on the web.
90-95% is the average, and it looks stunning.
MASSIVE spec needed to play:
Min 450mz, 96MB ram, 16mb Graphics card is the minimum spec to play this beast.

Features?
Bullet-time: Use to avoid enemy bullets.
Auto-difficulty adjust: The game monitors your performance in game, if you're getting hammered, it lightens the load, if you're breezing through, it makes it tougher for you.

This game will rock.
Full review tomorrow night when I am back from my lady's place and I get time to have a proper go.

life is good today.

Grix Thraves: Sponsored by Nintendo

You'd love it if it had bloody princess in danger or bizarre furry animals though wouldn't you?
Eh, wouldn't you?

This is a grown up game for grown up people, not your typical Ninty game.

God Lylat Wars sucks

Bah

(back to report in 40 mins on what it's like)

Love ya!

I think I'm going to be playing this and thinking... "Hmmm... I think they overused the slow down in a lot of these scenes..."

Speaking from experience there eh Goaty?

I wouldn't go as far as to say 'turning to the darkside' though!

My Pc more than meets those requirements but for some it just loves crashing whenever i get anywhere on a game. I could be on the net surfing.....errr.....pages and stuff! then all of a sudden the black screen and that little bit of writing in the top left hand corner which means it has just restarted. I spent 2 hours on Black & White and, yes you guessed it, crash! 2 hours lost, never to be retrieved again, i nearly wrenched the thing from the desk on threw it out of the window, taking out those little highly annoying kids who play football outside my house!
Ever since i've gotton it upgraded, the mother board has blown up.....twice! It constantly crashes when i'm doing well in a game! The modem has had to be replaced and it never works properly and the floppy disk drive sometimes decides to read from it even though there isn't a floppy disk in the drive and i didn't even ask it to! Which in turn slows the whole computer down making games jerk instead of run smoothly!
I think i'm going to scream!!!

Anway i'm going to wait for the PS2 release!

I'm going to lie down now.....

I suggest you turn to the darkside Ant and get roaring drunk, wake up somewhere naked and then steal a graphics card from a rich neighbour.

Grrrrrrr...

MY PC is no where near good enough. My graphics card can't run Black and White, and I only just have enough for minumum installation.

I'll have to wait for the PS2 version.

And I haven't even got a girlfriend...

Oh well, nice to see you're feeling good Goatboy.

Then play tomorrow for a couple of hours and put a more detailed impression.

Sorry chaps, disappeared up my own pipe for a while there.
