Nintendo said they would uncover a new peripheral at E3, could this be it? Its an image I made, but wouldn’t this be sweet? Read the caption along with the picture on the link above and discuss :)

It wouldn't be £40... wireless prices are in free fall after all.

The VMU cost £15 alone and look at the quality of the screen! Tamagotchi!

£40 sounds about right, only a GBA is more or less that price and it plays GBA games.

I know, but you want it for four player games on Crystal Chronicals, right?
Would player two control it with their mind while you put the screen in their port? ;-)

Stealing the VMU style memorycard/screen idea for the next generation would be a cool one though.

But it's a good idea, a promising concept and a possilitiy for the future of Nintendo.

So who really cares what you think?

A controller with an inbuilt screen would be a grand idea though.

But would it, Look at DC VMU memory card. That had a screen on, and it wasn’t too much money £15

If they mass produce something like my image then it could retail at about £40, the price of a game, and a price I would pay. Besides, it doesn’t have to be a controller with a screen; it could just be a separate screen, which plugs into port #2

Well the DS is supposed to hint to the "next generation of hardware".

And I don't think the price would be that much, the connectivity games only really require GBC related specifications... and besides it won't need any form of reading ability... just a screen.
