They did say 299 dollars at E3 and I think it is 1.4 dollars to the pound (or thereabouts). So in English pounds that would make 213.57 excluding VAT! With VAT it makes 250.94 plus a little bit for the companies for profit=299 quid

No, it is £299, it was announced at E3, I believe. Well, can't remember when/where it was announced, but it was. Really.

Well actually, they announced it at $299, but as we all know the exchange rate in gaming to be £1 = $1 then we'll see a £299.

The only thing I've seen that hasn't used this as a Mr Wookiee has pointed out is GT3.
